The Phantom of the Opera @ Lyric Theatre, Star City

I have always liked watching musicals. And the Phantom of the Opera is no exception!

The Phantom of the Opera will be staged in Sydney at the Lyric Theatre from May 11 until July 20 (2008) and is directed by Harold Prince. Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera is a much acclaimed musical that only the best artists are chosen for the play. In Sydney, 'the' Anthony Warlow is slated to cast as the Phantom who haunts the corners of the Paris Opera house. While Ana Marina and Julie Goodwin (alternate) plays Christine, the young soprano who's talents and beauty captivates the Phantom so deep that the Phantom becomes obssessed with her.

The Phantom of the Opera has been re-made into a film sometime in 2004, but I reckon watching it in the theatre, as a musical would be way better. Imagine and see the characters coming to life, would be just phenomenal! Hubby and I are watching this on its third week's schedule.. And I just can't wait! We have Dress Circle Seats! Woooopeee!
