What used to six degrees of separation from one unknown person to another in has now been reduced to four. Sharing a link in a networking site and having it go viral in a few days is a quick, easy, and practical way is by personal word of mouth marketing to make sure the word gets around. Bloggers have been targeted to promote businesses through their blogs because of the personal interaction the writer has with his readers where he can easily endorse products or services and get positive results.
